Chapter 1341

Maloney nodded, finally agreeing to her observation. “You’re right.”
Remington can’t be the mastermind behind all this. “If we narrow all the information down, the Chadwich family is most likely the suspect, especially since their car suddenly changed tracks earlier, which had caused the collision.”
“But Let’s retract a little bit,” Hannah said, not wanting to jump to conclusions just yet. “If the Chadwichs were targeting me, they would have ensured I was on the third track. The attack on Bagot couldn’t be their doing as well.”
Maloney’s expression grew stern. “Are you saying we might be looking at two suspects?”
Hannah turned to meet Maloney’s gaze and shook her head. “I can’t say for sure, but I have a feeling this won’t be the last of their ploys.”
“Then let’s catch them on act!” Maloney took out his phone and opened the message app.

Hannah’s brows furrowed. “Who are you texting?”
“Bryson. It’ll be hard for us to spot unusual with just the two of us in the villa. We need him to keep an eye on the situation outside,”
Maloney said.
Hannah raised an eyebrow. “Not so fast. I’ll tell him in person.”
Thinking Hannah was up to something, Maloney smiled impishly and put his phone back into his pocket. “Alright. You tell him.”
Soon, the two were back at the villa.

As Hannah climbed out of the car, her phone beeped with a text message from Trent about the situation at the hospital.
She was about to read the details when she heard a familiar voice call out her name.
“Miss Moore?”
Looking up from her phone to the direction of the voice, Hannah saw Peterson standing not far away.
Meeting Hannah’s eyes, Peterson hesitated before mustering up the courage to ask, “Can I talk to you for a moment?”
Hannah looked at him for a while, then put her phone away, telling Maloney, “You go ahead. I’ll call you if I need anything.”
Glancing at Peterson, Maloney nodded and took off, but not without reminding Hannah to be extra vigilant.
Once Maloney had left, Hannah approached Peterson. “What is it you want to talk about?”
Peterson stepped back a little, noticeably uneasy that Hannah was coming close. Still, he willed himself to reply, “I… I was about to tell you yesterday, but I couldn’t find the time. It’s about the incident yesterday. I… I saw the person who entered Mr. Delgado’s room.”
Regarding him curiously, Hannah nodded to encourage him to continue.
Peterson timidly added, “I was walking out of my room when I saw that person rush into Mr. Delgado’s room with a knife.”
“Did you see what that person looked Like?” Hannah asked.
